CCACanyonville Christian Academy is an evangelical boarding school located in Canyonville, Oregon. Centrally located in southern Oregon between the Pacific Ocean, the Cascade Mountains, Ashland’s Shakespearean Theatre, and Eugene – Canyonville Christian Academy is home of the University of Oregon Ducks and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. Numerous cultural and recreational trips are planned each year to these and other locations.

Founded in 1924 by A.M Shaffer, Canyonville Christian Academy is one of the oldest Christian boarding schools in the western United States. Canyonville Christian Academy has day classes for the local community and boarding facilities for grades 9 through 12, with college prep and ESL curriculum. A strong emphasis is placed on developing character and enhancing life skills by our dedicated Christian faculty.

The student teacher ratio at Canyonville Christian Academy is approximately 15:1.

Our board Co-Chairmen include Mark Victor Hansen, author of the best-selling book, Chicken Soup for the Soul, entertainer Pat Boone and former White House special assistant to the President of the United States, Doug Wead, who is an alumnus. Canyonville Christian Academy graduates have gone on to Stanford, Oxford and more than a hundred major universities around the world. Alumni include the President of Toledo University, the provosts of Biola University, and the president of Northwest College.
